Residents of the ICON condos have conveyed to me they love the roof top deck, one of the best views in San Diego, looking out across the skyline and bay with views directly into the playing field at Petco Park. The building is very well maintained and all the security staff and manager are all very nice. Convenient location close to a lot of bars and restaurants. A few commented that the HOA was well run/managed.
Social committee is always holding fun functions.

ICON residents are not happy with the stalled new library project next door (as of 2010 just a dirt lot). Also some residents are disappointed with the lack of new development in the area. Back when ICON was being built/sold there was lot more development planned east of ICON. That has come to a complete halt leaving ICON at the edge of the comfort zone in East Village. One exception on new construction is the new law school being built which should help the area. |

One resident suggested the addition of an outdoor spa in the common area. |
