Are there any new brand new condo buildings in downtown San Diego (under construction)?
According to the City of San Diego website, the proposed Bosa residential tower, 35 floor high, is going to be a rental building. I have heard for years he will not build there till he can get a price of $1,500 - $2,000/sf on average. The current market will not support such pricing and it seems he will therefore build rental apartments there instead of waiting for another boom in real estate prices.
Here are a couple of pictures I have collected over the years for this proposed and unnamed tower at the corner of First and Island Avenues in downtown San Diego, 92101 in the heart of the Marina neighborhood, between the twin tower Harbor Club condos and the twin tower Horizons condos.
This was surely going to be one of The Top 10 San Diego condo buildings in downtown, but seems that wont be happening.
